From Chinese mainland ports to containers and all loose bulk goods from some countries in West Africa, the consignor must apply for the electronic cargo tracking number (ECTN) to the designated agent of the Chinese mainland authorities before shipment, and indicate that the description of the name on the bill of lading and manifest will be used when customs clearance is made at the port of destination, otherwise the consignee will delay the delivery and be fined by the authorities.
